OUR JOURNEY & MISSION

Since our inception, SSHF has evolved from a specialized service provider into a promising entity in federal contracting. Our journey began when HORNE LLP contracted Service Specialists as a staffing subcontractor. Building on this successful collaboration, HORNE Federal was created, focusing on handling federal dollars for state-funded contracts. To further strengthen our capabilities, the Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP) was established. This partnership has allowed us to achieve significant milestones, reflecting our commitment to excellence, innovation, and responsive service delivery in the Federal space.

With over 25 years of experience, Deborah leads SSHF with a vision for excellence. Deborah has a demonstrated history of providing human resources expertise in IT, logistics, legal, medical, accounting, manufacturing, call center, and project management for federal, state, and commercial clients.

Cathy Denman, CPA, CFA

Managing Partner

Cathy is the managing partner of SSHF, where she oversees recovery accounting and disaster relief management. Her passion for helping federal agencies navigate complex recovery efforts has been instrumental in SSHF’s success.
